Big Brothers Big Sisters 12th Annual Golf Tournament 

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa
Friday, October 6, 2006
12:30 p.m. Shotgun Start

Play one of San Antonio's premier golf courses, the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. Participants will receive lunch, after golf hors d'oeuvres, unlimited beverages, a goodie bag including many nice golf-related items and much, much more! Many Chances to Win Prizes!

1st Annual "Hooked on Big Brothers Big Sisters" Invitational Fishing Tournament! 

Post Event Information:

1st Annual Fishing Tournament a Huge Success

The 1st Annual Hooked on Big Brothers Big Sisters Invitational Fishing Tournament had a great response. The event was sponsored by AEP Texas and was held on Friday, June 23, at Marker 37 Marina in Corpus Christi. Anglers and sponsors enjoyed free music, prizes, food, drinks, and participated in the drop box raffle during the weigh-in reception from 2 – 4 p.m. Fifty children, 16 years old and younger, enjoyed the free fishing time from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event raised a whooping $19,546 and received $8,450 of in-kind donations!

Mark your calendar! Bowl for Kids' Sake is rapidly approaching!  Preparations for this event are well underway.  

What is Bowl For Kids' Sake (BFKS)?

·         Nationwide, Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) is second only to United Way as a funding source for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

·         Locally, the event raises 10% of the agency operating budget.

·         It's not about bowling, but about having fun to help kids!

·         It is about a lot of people doing a little bit to make a BIG difference.

·         BBBS provides assistance & materials to recruit bowlers

·         BBBS handles all arrangements for bowling, prizes and entertainment.
