This event will give an intimate insight into the mentors who have impacted the life of Gordon Hartman.
Gordon Hartman is the founder of The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation. The foundation was established in 2005 to help families who deal with cognitive and physical disabilities face daily obstacles that are truly hard to imagine. Their devotion to this cause was inspired by their now 25-year-old daughter, Morgan, who was born with cognitive and physical challenges.
In 2010, Mr. Hartman opened the non-profit Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first ultra-accessible™ theme park designed with special-needs individuals in mind and built to be enjoyed by everyone. Continuing his mission of helping children and adults with special needs, in 2017, Mr. Hartman opened Morgan’s Inspirational Island, the world’s first ultra-accessible™ splash park. Most recently, Mr. Hartman announced — in partnership with Valero Energy Corp. — the construction of Morgan’s Wonderland Camp, a 102-acre recreational oasis that will offer a summer-camp-type experience to those with and without special needs.
Since the foundation’s inception, Gordon and Maggie Hartman and The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation have committed more than $50 million for the betterment of those with special needs.
