jcpenney is supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters during the month of June by hosting a register round-up campaign and gift card promotion.
Through its jcp cares charitable giving program, jcpenney has made Big Brothers Big Sisters its cause of the month this June. From June 1- 30, 2013, the department store will encourage customers to voluntarily round purchases up to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to the nationwide mentoring organization. Contributions will be added to the amount the customer pays for merchandise purchased from participating jcpenney stores or on www.jcpenney.com, and will go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
In addition, jcpenney will donate $1 for every $50 gift card sold during the month of June, giving Big Brothers Big Sisters an opportunity to receive an additional $50K.
Haggar will also be running an in-store campaign in all jcpenney locations for June 1-30 that will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. For any pair of Haggar pants purchased, Haggar will donate $1 to Big Brothers Big Sisters with a maximum contribution of $50,000. Customers will have the opportunity to enter a chance to win a trip to the 2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend in Canton, OH.
This campaign runs till June 30, 2013.

Lucky Bigs meet American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips.

The winners of our Facebook contest had the opportunity to meet American Idol Season 11 winner, Phillip Phillips at the Bjorn’s Studio at Clear Channel on Wednesday, January 30th. Bjorn Dybdahl, owner of Bjorn’s Audio-Video along with Clear Channel Radio, is giving back to the San Antonio community with tickets to select performances at the Bjorn’s Music Series Live Music Lounge. As a family-oriented business, Bjorn’s had no problem picking Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas, “They were an obvious choice considering their impressive track record as a benevolent force for change in the lives of youth in San Antonio.” Congratulations to our volunteer winners: Erica Molina, Darci Wolfgang, Josh Hight and Patricia Haning! |
