Summer is here, and that means the opportunities to get outside and get active with your little are abounding. We’ve researched the most fun things to do in our area over the summer! Check them out!
Make some time this summer to check out the San Antonio Riverwalk. This is a fun and free activity. With its origins at the end of the 19th century, it has deep historical roots and remains one of our area’s most popular tourist spots. The San Antonio Mission Trail is another fantastic local historical option!
There are a lot of parks in our area. Make a list of all the parks you’d like to visit this summer, and check them off over the next few months. Take a fun game, do yoga, or just enjoy the playgrounds and walking trails. The options are endless! Take a look at the Parks and Rec website to see all of the upcoming events at our local parks. Don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch!
If you and your little are really into art, take a stroll through the San Antonio Museum of Art! Admission is free on Tuesdays from 4-7 PM and Sundays from 10-12! The McNay art museum is another fantastic local must-see.
The Japanese Tea Garden is another must see outdoor activity, as well as Market Square. San Antonio is full of things to do and see. Take a look at local events calendars to keep up with area happenings.
